Intermittent Fasting or Time Restricted Eating (TRE) is gaining popularity and for a good number of reasons. Research has shown that allowing your gut to rest everyday between a 12-16 hour period of time can really benefit your gut and overall health. With that being said, I’m not a doctor nor am I the best source for you to obtain all the important information regarding TRE. I found a pretty great resource in a woman named Dr. Rhonda Patrick. She is a PHD in biomedical science and an expert on nutritional health. She has appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast a few times and she also has a podcast of her own called Found My Fitness. When it comes to learning about your overall health and what is really going on in your body, she is a wealth of knowledge.
Her podcast is great if you’re looking to learn about ways to be healthier, feel better and live longer. She is a big advocate for TRE and if you want to learn all about the positive effects it can have on your body and much more, check out the links below. For my personal opinion and results, stay tuned, I’m going to give it a 2 week trial and see how it goes.
